Very clean, neat perfect-sized lodging. Very well stocked and all amenities work: A/C, heat, fridge, bathroom, sinks, cabinets, TV, WiFi, etc. Cell signal is good here. In the center of the famous Lone Pine town. Very-well priced. Very comfortable place/lodging. Awesome getaway location!

Central Home Away from Home

The kitchen is simple but well-equipped, great for cooking family meals away from home. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants, and an easy drive to beautiful back country.

Cozy

Super cute older home. Host has it well stocked with everything you would need. Location is perfect for exploring Lone Pine area. We would definitely stay again.

Very close to everything in lone Pine ca

Very nice stuff. You can wash it close here. Air conditioning and bedroom was nice and the 12 cooler was good. T v was a little confusing, but everything was great

There was a hot plate and toaster oven but I did not cook The old house is located 1/2 block off of Hiway 395 so it is somewhat noisy with all nite truck traffic. If you need total quiet then could be a challenge. The flag pole across the street rang like a bell when it was windy. It met my needs fine because I was out hiking most of every day. Central location. lone Pine has lousey, expensive food.

Great amenities, spic n’ span clean

Great location, kitchen fully stocked with every utensil, kitchen gadget, and accessory imaginable; refrigerator smaller than advertised. Bathroom has every amenity one may need; hair dryer, nice towels, great shower, shower gel, etc. Great old bedroom; living room furniture rather sparse, could use a table lamp and cozy reading chair. Other than that issue, very enjoyable stay.

A solid stay for folks looking to visit Mt. Whitney. You are walking distance from all the restaurants and market so you never have to hop in the car unless you are venturing up to Mt. Whitney. The bathroom is spacious and having a washer/dryer is a major plus so you can pack light. The AC is solid, which is great for those triple digit days in Lone Pine. The owner is easily reachable and friendly. All in all it was a great trip.

The property was good for a short stay. It was easy to check in and it was very clean. There is a small fridge available and a counter top electric hot plate. There is also a bullet-sized blender. The bed was comfortable and the blankets were cozy. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat in the bedroom, but the mini split in the living room was easy to operate and worked well. One thing that could be better is communication, because I did send a question to the host, but never received a response. All in all, this is a good choice to stay in Lone Pine and I would stay here again.

It ain’t the ritz Carlton but it’s also super cheap. A/C works great, shower works great, it’s 20 yards from the Main Street so very walkable and they even have a washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. Perfect for the night if you plan on heading up to the Sierras or just want to check out Alabama Hills, Bishop, etc. Not a romantic spot but serves is purpose perfectly.

This is a very cute old house in Lone Pine an old town at a fair price, you can walk to everything Its not the Bellagio in Vegas. I will stay there again

We truly appreciated the friendliness and flexibility of the host in accommodating our early check-in and late checkout requests. it made our trip much easier. The house was very clean and well maintained. Having reliable air conditioning and washer and dryer available made our stay incredibly comfortable. Well, the futon in the living room is a nice addition to the space. We did find it a bit uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on, though it would likely be perfectly fine for a child. We also noticed that it can get a little noisy being so close to the main road, but it was not a major issue for SOS. We were pleased with the accommodations and look forward to booking with you again next year.

We really got to know Lone Pine . It has always been a place to pass through on the way to someplace else. Two blocks west of the house is a beautiful meadow with grazing horses and incredible views.

Did what we needed

We stayed here the night before and after our day hike to Whitney. Bed was comfortable. Space heater was doing its best in the 100 degree weather. The owner and/or manager of the property was very nice.

Cozy little house

I loved our stay. The house is small but cozy and has everything you need in it. I guess the only thing I would prefer is to have the front porch more closed off, so that I can let my dog out. But otherwise, it was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Lone Pine Fishing Trip

We had a great stay. Everything was fine. Nice kitchen except that a microwave would be helpful. And the amenities listed included a hot tub which does not exist.
