“Charming building, but our stay at this ‘5-star’ hotel was full of disappointment. Upon arrival, we were shown around the premises including the very funky bar that they seemed proud of, only the bar didn’t open at any point of our 5-night stay. The restaurant had a last-minute technical issue, so that wasn’t open either. The only food served was a continental breakfast that required no cooking. To cap it all off, the air conditioning stopped working during the third night and couldn’t be fixed……

“We had a fantastic stay at Villa Anassa Mara. Kona, the host, was incredibly helpful, and all of the staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The villa itself was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all amenities working perfectly. The outlook over the ocean from the balcony is absolutely stunning, and the pool was spotless and beautifully maintained.
