We had a wonderful visit to Villa del Palmar in San Jose del Cabo. The staff was very nice and hospitable, the dining options were plentiful, and the property was clean and well kept. Deborah and the manager Hugo at check in/check out were particularly accommodating and quite helpful with any questions we had. The only area of opportunity I would point to is the speed of the elevators and the WiFi. Otherwise, our visit here exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a family friendly relaxing experience away from the party scene in Cabo San Lucas, head to this resort in San José del Cabo.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our 6 night stay at VDP. I was blown away by the quality of the food and drinks- sushi, pizza, ceviche, steaks - as a self proclaimed foodie, I can say that the food was legit and I overate each time! We got the all inclusive which was definitely worth every penny. Our suite was 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, partial ocean view- the staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. The only downside was the shower in one of the bathrooms was broken and they attempted to fix it 3x with no avail. The beach was so close and beautiful, the view , the pool - all of it AMAZING. My children and I loved the water slide, the activities and the performances at night. I loved the breakfast buffet - so good!! We will definitely be back.

Great location, close to town. Many opportunities for excursions. Food options good ( highly recommend AIl inclusive) they are pricey. Pool was crowded so didn’t use, but tv plenty of lounging chairs. Drink service a little slow during peak hours maybe need another server at times. Overall had a great experience.

Beach is beautiful. Stayed in a 2 bedroom. The AC did not work and it took 3 of our 6 days to get it fixed. They were at full capacity so could not transfer us to another room. The food was ok, not great. The staff were rude at times. The entertainment with the shows at night were good and gave us something to do as there is no nightlife at this resort.

Our visit to Cabo's Villa del Palmer Beach Resort was truly exceptional. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The resort was a tropical paradise with beautiful gardens, pristine pools, and breathtaking ocean views. Our room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and perfectly blended comfort and luxury. The dining experiences were outstanding, featuring meals made with fresh, local ingredients. Days were spent relaxing by the pool, where we received excellent service from our server, Oscar. The evening entertainment, including live shows and dance performances, was a highlight. Alana, one of the performers, made our daughter's day by inviting her on stage for a photo and chatting with her by the pool. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Overall, Villa del Palmer Beach Resort exceeded all our expectations, creating an unforgettable family vacation. We are eagerly anticipating our next visit!

The rooms are perfect for large groups or families traveling together. Each bedroom had its own bathroom(we had a total of 3 bathroom in our suite), a fully equipped kitchen and living room with a sofa-bed, table and large balcony. We had an excellent view of the pool and ocean. The staff in the entire hotel was very welcoming and service was excellent. The restaurants had enough varieties to select from that there was never an issue on what to eat. In addition there is the option of room service which is great when you have kids who just need a little break indoors. I highly recommend to make a reservation at the Tomatillos Restaurant as it was such a delicious dinner. Our server Eduardo was superb in his service! Its best to get the all inclusive package and use all the benefits of food and drinks.

The property is outdated. They need to improve their service . Food is really good, staff needs to know all the details in the resort rather than asking someone all the time. They need to improve air conditioning in the whole hotel. But it was a nice place .

We had an amazing time at the resort. The staff was all very kind, the food was delish! Keep in mind the restaurants do not take reservations(first come first serve) so you’ve got to time it out right if you want to eat at a specific. Location, but there are plenty of options.

The staff was more interested in pushing their timeshare on us than they were in providing good service. It took 45 minutes to get coffee in the morning and room service at night took an hour or longer. One of the two elevators was out of order the whole trip, which made getting to our 7th floor room inconvenient. One very bright spot was the photographer, Alejandro. He was brilliant. Excellent photographer and editor. Our beach photos were worth every penny we spent. The massages were also excellent. It’s terribly inconvenient that our Uber couldn’t come on property to pick us up and the taxi service was 3x the price of an Uber. In all, it felt like the hotel had an agenda other than our comfort and serving our needs. They were serving their new hotel and its timeshare, the taxi services, and the excursion companies rather than us. That was very frustrating!!!

size of property is little smaller then other , they have limited food options, only 3 restaurants and because of size of resorts, there is always a long waiting and line , poll was small too and getting lounge chairs is everyday mission 😉

Staff was rude, hardly any staff available at restaurants. Waited hours to eat and didn’t get served for almost 45 minutes after being seated. Waited for an additional hour for food. Food was poor quality. Transportation with other company Grey Line was the worst. Extremely rude customer service and harassment via texts from this company. Will not be returning to this hotel
