A very elegant place and conveniently located for our show at the Palace Theatre. We had dinner at a cool place within walking distance, and breakfast at a quaint coffee shop. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great ambience inside the hotel, but not much in the immediate area to walk to. Staff was fantastic - Josh the valet and Trina in the lobby restaurant were particularly helpful and friendly!

Wonderful hotel. Not so wonderful neighborhood. Homeless, drug addicts. Near a soup kitchen. Hot Brown was outstanding. Old Fashion was made with crushed ice which shocked me. But mint julep excellent. Overall a good time

Beautiful property, excellent service and food. Unfortunately, the city needs to take care of the surrounding areas. There were lots of homeless and drug-induced people around the hotel. The hotel had security, but beware of parking your vehicle or walking anywhere and being harrassed.

We love the Brown! We had a great time there and would highly recommend this lovely hotel! The area around the hotel is sketchy and you have to be careful. Have been there many times and plan to return many more!

The Brown is incredible…beautifully appointed room, lovely sitting area, a great restaurant and very helpful staff. There is piano music in the bar/restaurant area, which can be loud. While lovely, it can inhibit conversation.
