"Property location is great - right on the lake. Staff was friendly. The issue is the whole property needs to be renovated. The landscape was poorly maintained, our bathroom had a plunger wrapped in a plastic bag, curtains had missing hooks, tables were worn…"

Masthope Luxury retreat 4bd King size bed , Jacuzzi 5 min to pools & lake…
10/10 Excellent
"My family and I stayed at this home for a week in July and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for a group—our party of nine had plenty of room to cook, dine, and relax. The lower level feels like its own apartment, with a bedroom, full bath, wet bar, and games like ping pong, foosball, and darts. The home is located in a quiet, wooded area where we often spotted deer in the yard, and it was stocked with helpful extras like beach chairs and inflatable rafts. Parking was easy and ample. The property is part of a private HOA community with great amenities: restaurants, pools, a lake with a beach, and access to kayaks and paddleboards. The pools and lake are a short drive away (1–3.5 miles), with convenient parking. One important note: access to most amenities requires daily guest passes (10/person), which can add up quickly and wasn’t clearly stated in the listing. However, the restaurants and general store are open to the public, which was a plus for family members not using the amenities. We also enjoyed the HOA’s weekly events, especially music bingo and a fun “creature show” for the kids. The home is in a remote area—services like gas or groceries are 15–40 minutes away—but the surrounding nature is beautiful and perfect for hiking and exploring. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay."
Poconos Masthope 6BR Home Ski Big Bear - Lake Pool
10/10 Excellent
"My family gathers from around the Country for a week each summer to vacation together. We chose our Lackawaxen house this year. The accommodations were perfect for our ‘gang’ of 11. We were close to the many Masthope offerings for every age and enjoyed the lovely, well appointed, 3-floor house.Communication with the hosts was excellent with any questions answered quickly and well. Our week was special, made so by the friendly staff, great accommodations and curious wildlife: no we didn’t feed them."
Spacious 5 BDRM Masthope Chalet with Private Movie Theater & AWESOME Game Room
10/10 Excellent
"The Heritage Chalet we rented was big and roomy for all of us. Plenty of bedrooms & beds. Beds were comfortable as well. We enjoyed using all the fun games and movie room. Amenities in the Masthope area were awesome. Pool especially!!! Hosts were quick to respond when we had a small issue with the coffee pot which was resolved the same day. Beautiful home in an amazing area. Greeted by the local deer several times. Would recommend this home to anyone who needs lots of room. "
"Gourmet is beautiful! Fully updated has a beautiful master suite upstairs and then what I would consider another master suite on the first floor. Has a great hangout area in basement."
"We spend three fulfilling fun days at the cabin. The beds were comfy and the house is beautiful and really good for kids. It is also close to the ski area. Would love to come back again. Thank you Shavy!"
