Upon arriving, told they were "out of king rooms but we will 'upgrade' you to a queen room"?? Same price of course for a smaller bed. First room I went to, the AC didn't work (West Texas middle of summer - at least 85°in the room). Second room, half the lights were out & again, broken AC. Third room, phone broken but AC worked, but it had been off so I was miserable for almost 2 hours while it cooled off. The desk clerk was polite about changing rooms but it was after hours so I had to keep hauling my luggage from the room back to the lobby & then to the next room. All rooms had that sour musty smell old hotels get. But once we made it inside it was very nice. The room was spacious and it was very quiet at night. The bar is no longer in use. There was a clean mini kitchen in my room. There were loose and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The 2" gap between the door and floor allowed every noise to come in. The staff was always wiling to help and i had no problem calling a head and checking in before the normal check in time considering i arrived at 2am. The staff was very accommodating.
