"The room was spacious enough and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and everything clean, but the carpet in the whole hotel is dated and doesn’t look appealing, including in the rooms. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. A mini fridge would have been nice."

Highlights were a generous breakfast in the light-filled dining room/common area with plant baskets suspended from the ceiling and some excellent local recommendations at check-in. Delighted to have found the Layhead and would absolutely stay here again."
