Italian tour

Excellent hotel in great location. However had booked a room with a balcony, but didn’t get it on arrival however once we asked they were very quick to move us. Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast plain but very good.

We had 2 rooms booked at the hotel. We returned back to the hotel one evening to find both of our rooms had been left unlocked all day by housekeeping. The rooms did not have a safe and all of our valuables were in the room. Luckily nothing was taken, but it easily could have been. Also the first day the only "cleaning" performed by housekeeping was making the beds, they did not bother to empty the garbage, clean the bathroom sink, provide new towels, etc. The beds were not very comfortable, the mattresses were soft and should be replaced.

Exactly what previous reviewer said, excellent location clean and service good. Ed mattress bad. Would recommend but they need new mattresses. Parking easy, which is very important.

great location, parking nearby. Not easy to drive in this city, but not that different than other walled cities. Breakfast good and plentiful. Really a lovely inn.

The Relais Inn Lucca was great! The location was great for us—within the wall so everything is very walkable, but still pretty close to the train station. The room was good. We were on the top floor, but fortunately there is a lift (unique among the hotels we stayed at on this trip!) The size was plenty for two people with luggage, clean, though the bathroom was a bit tight for me. Breakfast was included and was good and consisted of cold meats, fruit, pastries and cereal—typical of what we experienced in the other places we stayed. Finally, the staff were very friendly and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation—the best meal of the trip!

Pequeño hotel agradable y magnífica atención

Hotel rehabilitado de una manera eficaz y sin excesivos lujos. Muy buen desayuno y destacar sobre todo la amabilidad y disposición de todo su personal, en especial Elena. El único pero es que resultó muy caro debido a la celebración del Festival de Música de Lucca, pero el estar a escasos 300 metros de la Piazza Napoleone se paga. Muy recomendable
