All in all, our stay was satisfactory. Not the best Quality Inn I’ve ever stayed in, but not really the worst. The price was excessive for the quality, but my two big dogs were welcomed, which was a very nice perk, as I usually have to make them camp out in the car overnight. To their credit, the bathrooms were brand new and welcoming. The room itself, however, though clean, was shabby. Old thrift store furnishings, springy beds, old TV. The most disturbing part of our visit, aside from the road noise, was that our outside door-the “motel” side-was like cardboard. There were three locks, but I could push the door in at the bottom while it was locked (which I did by accident) and see into the room! It is obvious they have put their money into the bathrooms-which is what most people gripe about-and the lobby, and haven’t gotten around to the rooms themselves, yet. Slept fine, no major issues.
