The hotel is dated but it is evident that the staff is working to improve it. The staff is super friendly and the bed was comfortable. It is conveniently located right off of 81. If you are looking for a room to rest up for the night, it’s perfect.

Staff are friendly especially the lady who prepared the breakfast on 10-18-26. She was the same lady who greeted us with a friendly smile when we arrived. Parking is good, bathroom is okay exept for the toilet bowl, needs to be replaced, very old and looks dirty because of the black scrapes on it. Ceiling paint fell when we closed the curtain. Pricing of the room is good. All in all, the Inn should be good, except that it's really old and need some renovations.

The room was clean and served well as all I needed was a place to sleep. The front desk staff directed me to an entrance door that was a long way from my room, with two other entrances that were closer. As a handicapped person with difficulty walking, this was frustrating. Add to that, the access pad on the door where I was directed did not work with my key card. I called the front desk about this, and don’t think he believed me until he tried it himself.

I was pleased that I was able to reserve a room on short notice, that was also affordable during peak travel for a holiday weekend. The location in proximity to the Shenandoah National Park was a key factor in my decision to stay in this hotel. I was pleased that there were places to eat, grab snacks and get gas all within a very close distance to the hotel. The clerk at the front desk was knowledgeable, was friendly and efficient with the check in process. The room was overall clean and well maintained. There was ample parking and I was able to park right in front of my room since it was on the ground level. The amenities were good, although my stay was brief, so I did not get to use all of them. I did find a dead moth and minimal dust in the back corner under the bathroom counter, not an issue for me. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with all the necessities for my overnight stay. The maintenance appeared to be managed well, I did notice some minor wear and tear that comes from frequent usage, it was so minor it had no impact on my room or my stay. I intend to stay here again for future trips to the Shenandoah National Park.
