“This is our third time staying at this cabin. Every visit has been so relaxing and such a balm to our souls. The location is so quiet, the environment secluded and romantic, the cabin provides all that we need. A beautiful porch to look out in to the woods and sip our coffee in the morning. A quick drive in to town for a lunch out or movie. A wood burning fireplace to snuggle in front of to read or watch a movie. We can take a hike if we'd like or just sit in the hot tub and soak.”

You do not see any other cabin or camp from the cabin and so you have complete privacy. The sound of the water flowing by the side of the cabin is so relaxing. “Excellent location! Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek and we could easily watch them as we made a fire and relaxed on the porch. Bedroom was large enough to have floor space for kid mats to sleep on. Wi-Fi was weak but fire tv kept us entertained when it rained. Super close to lots of hikes and overlooks. “This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. “Rockfish River Cabin is every bit as visually appealing and comfortable as the photos and all of the reviews suggest. Its location and surroundings were also perfect for us. We (two couples and our pup) spent a wonderful three nights there and will be happy to return next year. Can’t beat the peaceful views and sounds of the river from the deck. We also enjoyed the walking path very much. Grilling on the deck and cooking in the well equipped open kitchen was a pleasure. Recommend Three-Notch’d……
