Mid-season stay

Friendly staff and a great location. Breakfast buffet was a true delight. You do not get toiletries in the room, so come prepared.

Don't bother

Reception staff highly unhelpful on check in & during a taxi query. Room was not ready. Room was appalling we felt we were in the servants quarters, at the very back of the hotel over a bridge which crossed the swimming pool. The back of the hotel is like a shabby Blackpool B&B and does not resemble the front of the hotel. Breakfast staff were very nice.

Hi many thanks for your comments, we are sorry your room was not ready but normal check in time is 3pm and although we do strive to get rooms on before them sometimes a few are not ready till 3pm -

Friendly hotel

Very friendly staff. Room size a little small for 3 people and bathroom in need of uplift. Great Breakfast. Super location. Would stay again.

Room very disappointing. Also beds very uncomfortable mattresses need updating. No toiletries in bathroom had to ask from some. Don't think I would stay again.

Not good won't go back

If stay in hotels almost half the price and been a lot better internet dose not work very well breakfast stops at 930 and nearly all hotel if been to stop at 1030am shower screen was loose Barth plug hole blocked sink loose bed lumpy bit ok receptionist was unhelpful on check put would never stay again the most expensive stay at £91 and the worst stay in a long time as I travel a lot

Disappointed to see that dogs allowed in lounge area there was a large dog that was let of the lead and bounded about the bar area. We had dinner in the hotel which was of poor quality we sat down at 7.20 and had starter and main course within 15 min no time between courses, the hotel itself is lovely and in a great location plenty of parking available. Maybe our fault for not realising this was a dog friendly hotel for that reason we would not revisit.

The hotel is in a great location

Pros: I generally felt safe and welcomed in the hotel. The staff answered questions and were interactive and polite
Cons: The décor seems a bit odd in parts.....a mix match of carpets, Hollywood glamour, dog prints and generally felt a bit tired in parts.
Location: location is good and on site parking was appreciated. easy access to the busy town of blackpool and nearby restaurants, cafes and beach
Overall the hotel felt welcoming and staff were pleasant and interactive. Our room (160) felt a bit tired overall for example the four poster bed (with pink polka dot fabric) felt a bit out of place in terms of the overall décor which for some reason had Humphrey Bogart artwork, again which seemed a bit dated and oddly themed. There was no heater/central heating in the bathroom which was poorly insulated and felt cold especially during a winter stay. Toiletries were from a dispenser and felt cheap and basic. Tea tray was adequate but no special touches for example a small pack of biscuits which would have been a nice touch. Breakfast was buffet style and generally contained the usual standards however the yogurts had just been put out in the plastic wrapper and it all felt just a bit under dressed to make it more appetising.
