Railway station at Chelford, 2 miles down the road, is ideal if you want to get to these city centres but don't want the drive. trains not that frequent but it works well if you look at the time table. This farmhouse B&B was excellent, the accommodation being in a large house about 100 yards from the farmhouse where breakfast was served. Our large double bed room was very comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom - shame the shower wasn't a bit more powerful, but that was the main negative. We weren't troubled by road noise but rooms closer to the busy main road said they were disturbed. The room was comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was clean. The cooked breakfast was made to order and was lovely.
