The key card I got when I checked in had a different address and phone number than the hotel. When I got to the room, there was no remote for the TV. So I had to go back to the front desk to ask for one. They promised they would bring it to the room, but they never did. Also, we were 2 people traveling, but there was only 1 set of towels in the room, when I asked for a second towel for my husband, the woman at the front desk told me that it is only 1 set of towels per room, even if there are more than 1 person staying !!! The airconditioning made so much noise that we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, But it was in Mississippi in June, so we ended up not being able to sleep because it was getting to hot. There are also trains passing by behind the hotel throughout the night.

The only good things about that hotel is the staff and the lobby. The rooms and the elevator are dirty.

We booked here because of the high 8.4 rating. It is a 7 at best. It was clean and front desk staff was pleasant. But hotel common areas are dated — tired carpets and chipped purple paint — and rooms are super basic. Telephone shower head leaked. Worst thing? The highway and industrial noise and damp, musty AC smell in the room. Price was ok but would have rather paid more for a true 8.4 quality.
