“Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located...

“We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year!”

“This home on Dam Pond was the best! Very clean, and fully equipped. Loved the deck and waterfront listening to the loons. Super quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed. Brenda and Peter were great hosts. Even brought us coffee!! Would definitely come back.”

“Wonderful cottage and property! We enjoyed relaxing on the vast screened-in front porch, direct access to the lake and beach, and taking advantage of the amenities provided such as the kayaks, paddle board, fire pit, and grill. Hosts were very responsive and kind. ”

“Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!!”

“We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, reading, hiking, listening to the loons, playing games and watching movies on the one rainy day we had. We especially appreciate that we were able to bring our dog who also had a great time! ”

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be...

“They say you can't go home again, but if you're a native returning to Maine (like us), you can come pretty close to it by staying at the Sea Lavender Cottage!We were four adults and an infant and there was plenty of room inside and outside. The Cottage is exceedingly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The views from the deck are stunning and we spent a lot of time with the provided binoculars watching the antics of the wildlife on the tidal river. We also used the kayaks to explore...

“The house was lovely and contained numerous thoughtful amenities. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our Great Pyrenees, and the proximity to the water (Dam Pond) was ideal. Sunsets were truly beautiful. One suggestion for future visitors would be a BBQ grill. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the owner, Elizabeth, was helpful and amiable. We would definitely consider a return. Our biggest problem was the 8-9 hour drive from NJ.”
