Very helpful front desk in the off-season; helped us find our room at midnight, also made us laugh. Always a clean room upon return. Thin walls, but no disruptive neighbors during our stay.
Impressive size condo living room, kitchenette and dining area with nice layout. Bathroom size is tight but acceptable for single user (versus couples sink or separate shower from toilet). Very large beds that are very comfortable. Overall room very tidy and nice. Hallways, elevators and carpets are very dated however and can use a refresh.
The person who first help us was able to get us a better room then what I ordered and get us into the room early instead of waiting until 4pm we got in around 11am so for me that was excellent service! The hotel does need some remodeling but other then that would stay again.
Location was very nice, staff very friendly and accommodating. However, the heater wasn’t working well maybe because it’s old. Overall my stay was absolutely wonderful.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The room was very clean and well maintained. The only downside was that the indoor parking garage was quite narrow and tight.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
It’s a nice hotel, great views, but a bit dated. Restaurant can get busy, they need more help. Staff were great. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
It was close to the Red Meadows shuttle spot. The lobby was nice, and check-in was smooth. However, the building and rooms are old. The heater in the room is like it's from 30 years ago, even older than the one in the motel. The beds are super high to climb into. And we found a hair inside the supposed-to-be clean blanket. It makes the sleeping experience feel itchy. Not many amenities that we could use.
Building is old and in need of a lot of upgrade/repairs.
Hallways and elevator were in pretty bad shape and in need of repair. Flooring in the hallways is also in pretty bad shape.
Room was clean.
My bed was not good. My wife said her bed was ok.
Staff was very nice.
Excellent location right at the Gondola and Shuttle to Devils Postpile. Grounds very nice, lobby very comfortable. Room needs carpet removed due to its age. Bathroom was cramped due to toilet and door nearly hitting each other. Would stay again.
Staff and service were great, very helpful with tips about things to do and places to see. Room was clean except for the carpet and chairs. Bathroom was nice and clean. Bed was clean and comfy. Room was large but no real comfortable place to sit. Quiet place to stay at least in August. Sure it's very busy in ski season. The place is older but nice and has character but could use renovation in some areas. We had a pleasant stay and would go back.
