“Lost Lake cottage was a clean and warm (during an exceptionally cold week) and a reasonably supplied home. The appliances were older but functional as we chose to eat all our meals in. We had messaged Pictured Rocks to ask the host or owner to add some towel racks in the bathroom. There was nowhere to dry our towels except on hangars in our bedroom closet. “We booked two nights at Explorer Munising, and after reading some of the reviews, it made me a little worried of how our stay would end. But this place is absolutely AMAZING! THE LOCATION IS 10/10 the property is absolutely beautiful! To the people who say there isn’t instructions for check-in, they make the door access extremely easy, you don’t park across the street from the cabin. It’s literally 10 feet from your front door where you park. When people say it’s unsafe I’m assuming they’re new……
