This beautiful house has so much to offer throughout its three levels. The top level, the vibrant hub of the house, captures breathtaking views of both the ocean and the deep green of the forest below.The well-appointed kitchen opens to a dining area heated by the fireplace. The living room, equipped with comfortable furnishings and cable TV, awaits its guests. Step out onto the deck and grill up your favorite foods just off the kitchen while enjoying the ocean views.

The lower level has a family room with a futon and cable TV. With a foosball table and ping pong table the kids will have plenty to do on those rainy Oregon days. This is the perfect home-away-from-home for year-round visits to the coast.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Beautiful surroundings, quick walk to beach.

Location was away from the bustle of town, which we appreciated (especially during covid), but quick walk to beach. Beautiful nature all around property. House was great as expected and very clean. Awesome to have a small fenced yard to let the dogs out.

Treasure Chest is a new favorite.

Our family enjoyed four nights here and were very pleased. The house was clean, well-stocked (thanks for not being stingy with TP and paper towels!), and the view was gorgeous. We loved being up the hill - it felt very secluded but you could still hear the waves at night. The hike to the water was close and the trip back up the hill is a great way to walk off some of that vacation eating! (-: We loved Manzanita - much smaller and quieter than where we stayed before (Seaside). We'd definitely like to come back here.

Wonderful stay in "treehouse" near the beach

The property is just up the hill from the beach (about a 3-block, steep, walk) and feels like you are in a treehouse. We had two adults, 4 teens and an 89-year-old in our group, plus our two dogs, and the house worked well for all of us. Fenced-in yard is quite small, but upstairs deck is wonderful. Long-ish walk into "downtown" Manzanita or very short drive.

Plenty of space

We enjoyed our stay at this manzanita home. There was plenty of space, a large sunny deck with views of the ocean, and a comfortable living area. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Although, the stovetop did not work well. You could not turn the burners to low. Overall we had a comfortable stay!

Pleasant Getaway

Close to the beach and easily walkable if you don't mind the hill. Nice view. Lots of space and comfy beds. Great parking. Clean. Has an elevator and is ADA accessible (pretty cool!) Was little kid friendly due to lack of small decorations all of the house and has a nice floor plan that can contain them on one level. The propane does burn dirty, leaving soot on the bottoms of the pots and pans, making them frustrating to clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location and short walking distance to the beach. It is a good size for family and extended family. It was very clean. I was hoping they would have more seating upstairs to accommodate a larger family and more kitchen items as we cooked thanksgiving there.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think vacation rentals have gotten so expensive and increasingly they disappoint. The heat, the creaky floors, the gas range that didn't work properly, etc. The property manager was very helpful when the wifi didn't work.

Great place for a family trip

The highlight was the closeness to the beach and a view of the ocean. Could hear the waves. The place was clean and included a washer/dryer with complimentary detergents. The rooms were clean and spacious. Kids would love the bunk beds. The foosball and pingpong tables are also there for a friendly family competition.There are also many fun board games to play after an awesome day at the beach. Kitchen was clean and provided basic necessities if cooking. The gas bbq was also a great addition. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the garage. There was a strong unpleasant odor, which we noticed when went there for a game of pingpong. There were also a few mice were running around eventhough it is expected to see them considering the location. Overall, it was a fun and pleasant stay for us and hope to return soon.

Amazing house for a family!

We absolutely loved our stay. The pictures don’t do the house - or the view - justice. The house had great amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lots of blankets, games, movies, etc.), was clean, and was a quick walk to the beach. The beach was also perfect for my kids and they never wanted to leave. We’ve stayed in many locations up and down the coast and this one is solidly in first place for my family. Will definitely be back again.

Great rental, needs a little upkeep

Overall the rental was very nice. Comfortable, roomy, beautiful deck and view, dog friendly and overall worked pretty well. The dishwasher does not work and there was no plug for the kitchen sink in order to wash dishes. In addition, not enough hot water. The Vacasa service provided us with disposable dish ware and a new sink plug due to the dishwasher. It wasn’t until the last day when I was the first to wake up and shower that I discovered there actually was hot water. I just thought the entire time the temperature on the water heater was turned way down to Luke warm. Which also meant that although we had a plug for the sink, only had warm ish water to wash dishes in.

Great for our Spring Break with college age kids

This house was a great layout for our group of 10. The kids stayed up late and played ping pong and foosball and we didn't hear a peep. Great views, beautifully constructed home. We will probably come back to this one!
