“We loved our stay here and Joanne, the property manager was great. Responsive to all of our needs and a good communicator. It was a great home base for our week at Cape Breton. The house was well equipped and had lots of places for our group of 3 couples to relax. It was a beautiful private setting with great views. ”

“This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the dishes and appliances you would need. It was SUPER clean. The double beds were cozy - we are used to a Queen size, so we just cuddled. All good, and comfortable mattresses. The view is stunning, and the quiet street made a midnight walk by the water a beautiful end to our……

“A convenient location for getting to the west side of Cape Breton NP. The house has a gorgeous water view, and is very comfortable!We enjoyed seeing the Milky Way on a clear night, as there is a nice dark sky over the water in the back yard. We hiked in the park, biked a lovely bike trail ( rented at Inverness Adventures), strolled the beach, and enjoyed music at the nearby Doryman Pub. A great vacation! Managers are easy to communicate with. ”

“Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. They were very quick to respond to inquiries and helpful recommendations. Overall, the property met our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. Over”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Cabot Trail Lavender Guest House! We appreciated all of the “extras” - the snacks, breakfast items, and beverages. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our two night stay. I never imagined that we would be so close to everything but we were. “We had a lovely stay at the Chateau acadien. The panoramic view from the deck of the Cape Breton shoreline is unforgettable. All the rooms were luxurious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location on Cheticamp Island is in the original fishing settlement, and a small museum is being built nearby. It is supremely quiet and peaceful, but conveniently close to Cheticamp. I highly recommend this property. ”

“We had 7 adults , 2 children and 2 dogs and were very comfortable with the space. It was exceptionally clean and had plenty of beds and comfortable gathering areas. The location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do in Cape Breton. We loved the Gypsum mine hike right by the house. And being so close to the park and Inverness golf. 100% recommend Georgina’s house!!”

“We loved staying in the Forest Lake House! Michael and Winnie were gracious hosts and very welcoming. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking, the canoe and roasting marshmallows over the fire in front of the house overlooking Lake Ainslie. A true gem! ”
