We loved the location for exploring Marieville, along with the historic structure of the building itself. We met other travelers who were friendly and considerate. I would stay there again.
The hotel is nicely situated close to several restaurants. Check in was simple and ample parking. The room was small but we had access to a very comfortable sitting area complete with tea and coffee always available. Breakfast was simple but filling.
Really great, comfy place to stay! Its feels cozy and we had everything we needed. My only con was the bed wasn’t very comfortable but as one expects when it’s not your own.
This hotel was absolutely adorable. The staff was super friendly and polite. The rooms were all individualized and very cool. Great restaurant around the corner. Spoke English & French.
Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Front porch on a major road but a park across the street. Heritage building so lots of wood and stone. Easy to get to amenities but not alot within walking distance. Heard some wonderful music at a summer concert across the road.
Beautiful historic building that’s been converted to a fun hotel. Our suite had a giant jacuzzi tub and a sauna. Wow!

Liked: Staff & service
Property was decent, a bit pricey for what it is I find, don’t try the restaurant down stairs is mega pricey and not that great but the staff is great. Good place to stay in a pinch and pretty far form montreal
How often do you get to spend the night in a 1797 stone manor with 2-foot wide stone walls and yet, a/c and features of a modern hotel? It was so beautiful and the gentleman owner/manager was there to make your stay comfortable.
Older building renovated into hotel. Rooms were very clean and quaint. Exterior needed upgraded renovations due to building age and structure. Has good potential but upgrades and required. Has a very good location and potential.
Bed was ok but again upgrades needed.
Room was ok not furnished for comfort.

There is a beautiful river but it’s dirty and polluted with trash. Very peaceful environment but disgrace to see.
May not be the staff’s fault but they should take care of nature.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Very disappointed with the service. First, they didn’t answer the phone, and when we arrived, the only staff member on site didn’t speak French, spoke very limited English, and wasn’t very friendly. We had rented four rooms for the weekend, yet they still wanted to charge us $200 just to use their breakfast room—which wasn’t even being used for the rest of the day—so we could gather together.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. The photos looked great, and the manoir itself was nice, but it’s actually located right in the middle of the village, not on a large property as it appears online. The breakfast was also very limited.
Do not recommend at all.
This room was absolutely beautiful, built in suana and jetted tub private. Outside on the terrace there was an additional hot tub for all paying guests with swings and a seating area. Breakfast was included with fresh coffee continuously, tea and outside of breakfast room sitting area, parking in the back of the building and overall amazing wood features and beautiful rocks throughout the building, our room even had two bird feeder built in to view them eat and nest. They had in room microwaves, fridge, coffee maker, dinner table, two large tvs, nice living room couches and amazing king size bed with downed pillows. Staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and full of information. Would I recommend yes and I would go again.
