"On a scale of 1-10, La Pavie gets a 12. The house and grounds were fabulous and in a great location. We used it as base to visit a lot (a whole lot) of Chateaux. Our host was wonderful. She was quick to respond and to help when we needed it. She made our visit pleasant and most memorable. La Pavie is definitely the place to stay when in the Loire!"

"Magnifique maison, spacieuse, très bien agencée avec un jardin, une terrasse. Nous somme partis en groupe et la maison est idéale pour cela. Nous serions bien resté plus longtemps. L emplacement est également idéal, village, magasin et une boulangerie qui fait du très bon pain. Également très bien situé pour visiter les châteaux. Nous avions nos vélos et les voies vertes sont bien indiquée. J y retournerai volontiers. Le prix est quand même conséquent pour une semaine. "

The house is well appointed, extremely comfortable and the delightful owner lives next door and made us feel very welcome. No internet connection and having to hire bed linen at an extra cost is unusual in my experience of using VRBO across Europe but nevertheless this is a perfect house to stay in to explore the real beauty of the Loire Valley.
