Firstly we had a very disastrous start to our holiday, the hire car company didn't take debit cardswhen we went to pick up the car, we were devastated as we knew we needed this car to get to the villa. "t was the best place I have stayed at for a long time. The owner made me feel very welcome and answered a query I had before I left Scotland very quickly. The location was superb, peaceful and photogenic. I had the whole place to myself and ate al fresco and took a swim in the pool. I arrived by foot the owner let me borrow a bike for the duration, this was very handy for me to ride to the train station and back. "

"If you like site seeing is excellent but you need a car to see the villages and the towns. The road is a dirt road with a lot of dust, the property is in excellent shape and Antonella is fantastic. "Saverio was very kind, but the property itself was quite dirty and covered with spiders. It looked like nothing had been cleaned or dusted, including the dishes. There is a bus not far from the property that takes you into Florence but it can be inconsistent and delayed at random up to an hour. At one point our key stopped working, but Saverio tried his best to fix the problem within a few hours. If you don’t mind a bit of a mess/spiders/distance from the city center, it is worth the price."
