"We love the Hotel Intercontinental.This was our third time staying here. Such a great location. We booked a walking tour and all we had to do was walk down from the hotel in 3 minutes to the port where all the action is. A good dining option at the bistro after traveling all day and arriving late. Breakfast was good, freshly made omlettes an option. Historic 19th Century building built as a hospital during the Napoleonic wars so the rooms are large and the public spaces rich in decor."

"So this Hotel has the best Breakfast so far hands down...the extra pay is absolutely worth it. The Staff were all great especially with the ladies at the restaurant morning breakfast, very helpful. Although nearly an hour's walk from the old dock, Les Docks Village which is a large very nice modern shopping and restaurant complex is only 5 minutes walk away. The air conditioned apartment was lovely and spacious, but let down by the sink being the opposite end of the apartment to the toilet. Our balcony overlooked offices and the road. Overall, excellent value and would choose to stay there again."
