“The appearance from the outside will leave you wondering why you booked this hotel. The renovations on the second floor are up to date. It would be nice to have staff on hand for an early check out. The lobby doors are locked so you must find a side exit. Our shampoo and body wash containers were not refilled and unfortunately only noticed in the morning. I am sure once all renovations are done inside and outside this will be a great hotel.”

“Does not look like pictures on web. Pictures are old (rotary phones in them). Room was clean but really dated. Beds were not comfortable. Ok if you only require a place to sleep for the night.”

“LANG LAKE RESORT IS THE ESSENCE OF ONTARIO COTTAGE COUNTRY -- BEAUTIFUL WATER AND LANDSCAPE VIEWS GREETED US ALONG WITH THE SOUND OF BIRDS AND THE CONVERSATION OF FRIENDLY STAFF AND GUESTS. (KEEP IN MIND THAT MOSQUITOS, etc ARE ALSO PART OF COTTAGE COUNTRY, BUT, THIS IS SIMPLY TO REMIND YOU TO BE PREPARED--NOT TO COMPLAIN OR TO SUGGEST THAT THE OUTDOOR CRITTERS WERE ANY BETTER OR WORSE THAN ELSEWHERE IN ONTARIO!) WE HAD A LOVELY TWO-NIGHT STAY AND ARE CURRENTLY EXPLORING THE OPTION OF HEADING……

“This house was absolutely amazing! Everything was so clean and the the view of the lake was stunning! We had so much fun with the kayaks and on the play set. The host was so kind and amazing at communicating with us. They had everything you could need including toiletries and a first aid kit. Thank you again for this amazing house it was truly a hidden gem!”
