“We came out for the eclipse and it was a nice quiet accommodation for us and our friends. The kids really enjoyed all the animals and sitting on the back porch. Lots of space. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.”

“It was a very pleasant experience to stay at the Blue Door Cottage. The owners are very friendly and make the experience very easy. The cottage was very clean and felt warm and comfortable and the side deck was a great place to sit and relax with a view of some woods. The Amish oriented towns of Millersburg and Berlin are a short, picturesque drive from the cottage. I highly recommend this as a great choice!”

“The property was exactly as described. It's so peaceful and cozy in that area. We seen multiple deer and pet the horses on the property.Well stocked with what you needed to start a stay there. Everything was within range to eat, shop and yet not the nightly hassle of tourist bothering you once you where no longer that tourist lol. ”

“Not only was the cottage adorable and unique, it was also incredibly clean and comfortable. Melissa was in touch before our stay to see if we had any special requests. When we arrived, she had left us home baked cookies and a thoughtful welcome note. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and there was even a welcome basket with assorted snacks and a keurig with pods for coffee, hot cider, and hot chocolate as well as an assortment of teas. I had told Melissa I was just looking to……

“Everything was amazing. Ive never been in Amish country before and had no idea of what to expect. We wereright downtown and within walking distance to so many shops. We sat on the front porch and watched allthe buggies and amish on motor bikes go by. And after dark there were fireworks that we could see. It was a perfect stay in the perfect place. Our cottage was so cute and clean. It had evwe needed. Thank you so much!! And i almist forgot we had the coolest buggy ride. ”

“Everything about the house itself was amazing only issue was the swimming situation. Walking distance is not an option for swimming. The private beach is restricted to renters so the only option is to drive 10 mins. Just felt a little mislead”
