All was great for the price and the staff were really friendly. The staff warned us about the lift that was not working and even came to see if the room was ok which it was. The highlight was the walk along the river into the city and the breakfast from the place round the corner. We will stay again if in town.

I've stayed in many hotels across the UK over the past 50 years, and I can honestly say that Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa is the finest I've ever experienced. If you can find fault with this place, I'd genuinely be amazed. From the moment you arrive, it's clear that every detail has been carefully considered. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the views are beautiful, and the historic character of the hall radiates through every room. It has a warmth and elegance that's very difficult to put into words. The bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable. The beds and pillows provide one of the best night's sleep I've had in years, the showers have excellent water pressure, and every part of the accommodation feels luxurious without ever feeling pretentious. The spa is equally impressive. It's spacious, beautifully designed and wonderfully relaxing. Every member of staff is welcoming, attentive and clearly passionate about creating an exceptional experience. I also stepped well outside my comfort zone and booked a one-hour deep tissue full-body massage. I'd always avoided massages because I was worried someone might aggravate existing problems with my back or legs. I couldn't have been more wrong. The therapist was outstanding. I walked in with stiffness and discomfort, and walked out standing straighter than I had in months. Arrival was really efficient and the reception team super accommodating and friendly. The carpark is large, and plenty of spaces. Must out registration of vehicle into tablet on reception desk to avoid a penalty fine. Bar and lounge area really well kept, and menu for drinks and food is great - including some deals. Bedroom was a fantastic size with two double beds. Clean and well appointed with a smart TV also. Breakfast on check-out morning was enough to fill us for the day until tea! We will stay again, for sure!

This is an events hotel with a very large number of guests. I had a room in the Paddocks which is a building outside the main hotel. The rooms have No Aircon, the windows barely open due to safety catches. The temperature in the room was unbearable. The fan which was suppose to help was of very poor quality and did nothing to improve things! It was so bad I assumed it was broken, but after maintenance came out they confirmed it was just a rubbish fan . The rooms also had very poor sound insulation, the floor boards above creaked terribly, which was unfortunate when the guests above were very active at 4am in the morning. Needless to say I did not sleep well. Breakfast was reasonable but anything cooked to order was at an additional charge. The dining room for breakfast was huge, with loads of people queuing for coffee from the machine and the buffet table. The swimming pool and changing rooms were well maintained, but the pool was too small for the number of guests even 10minutes after opening in the morning. I didn’t use the Spa or gym. The food from the Pub was good although it took a long time to arrive I was very underwhelmed by all aspect of this hotel, other than the staff who were all polite and tried their best to assist. I feel this hotel is overpriced for what it offers. given the cost and my experience I would not stay here again.
