The room was clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels were waiting on the bed. The room was warm when it was cold outside and a cozy place to stay. The bath room was a bit small, but clean and it did have a roomy shower. Check in was fast and efficient with friendly staff.

This is an older motel that still uses real keys for the rooms! It is not fancy, has no exercise room or pool, but I had a good nights sleep in a clean, quiet and comfortable room. Staff is pleasant, location is perfect, and for me, that is what's important.

The motel is fairly remote - five miles either direction to any town, limited dining options. I gave the motel a high rating because it is a great value! It's dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. If you want an indoor pool and a chocolate chip cookie on your pillow, don't stay here. If you're looking for a clean, safe place to shower and sleep, at an extremely affordable rate, this is the place.

Is it better to stay in a Caldwell motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
