“Very interesting community it is placed in. We rolled in around 10 at night and were a tad spooked. The place was very cute and clean. Only complaints are that we were overtaken by Asian Lady Beetles halfway through the trip, and that the pull-out couch had a part that would slide from under you. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, perfect for our late-night pancake making. We also got to watch Dance Moms, which is an extreme plus. Love you, Haydenville! Just a little scared of you.”

“The small cabin/house is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. Burr Oak Lake beach is a short drive, but not a walk. There is a Lakeview Trail access less than 1/2 mile up the road, and this trail takes you to the lake (approx. 1 mile). Definitely would recommend the place.”

“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home. “The house had a few minor cleaning issues when we arrived. There were footprints from previous stays, trash had not been completely emptied, the master bed wasn’t entirely made, there were shorts left at the foot of the bed from a previous guest, there were hairs in the shower, and there were two mugs still in the sink. But the biggest issue I had was we paid for this cabin primarily for the hot tub, but the hot tub was not hot enough to use. It was barely warm despite us setting it to the……

“Beds not comfortable cheap matresses...heat pump did not warm home sufficiently...fireplace did not work”

“Clean, seemed newly remodeled. Heat worked amazing on a very cold snowy night.”
