“We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area. ”

“The property is easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the harbor. There was ample parking. The door and lock are secure. Decor is cozy with a small living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The beds and linens were very supportive and comfortable. To me, a comfortable bed is the most important part of a good VRBO, and these were great!The bedroom and bathroom doors are louvered, I presume for circulation. They’re fine for normal privacy concerns, but if you need true isolation, this……

“It was like staying at home. It was clean and absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very nice size. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is amazing and you have everything you need. The most surprising addition is that there is a combo washer and dryer for clothes, which is incredible! Don’t hesitate, don’t keep looking! This is the place for you and your family/friends! “Great stay in a remote area! It’s a great place to just disconnect from life. Us and the kids enjoyed the lake by doing some fishing, and during the days we went on several hikes around the area to see some water falls and other great sights!”

“Our family of 5 had a great visit to Munising. Everything in the property listing was exactly as promised with the exception that the second room with three twins had recently been converted to two. Kindly, the property manager gave our girls access to the bunk house which was greatly appreciated. My 11-year old could have stood at the little beach area for three days straight throwing rocks. Had a blast. As described well in other reviews, this is right off the highway and next to boats taking……

“The property is close to Pictured Rocks, and just a short walk from the lake. We enjoyed the fireplace this time of year. Grand Marais is a cute little town. If you plan on cooking, you would want to bring your own food, the grocery store in town is very small. We had a great time!”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful this rental is. I am a clean and neat freak and this place is sparkling clean! They use the best cleaning products. Beds are so comfortable! Extremely spacious! We were up snowmobiling and it’s very close to the trails. The driveway is wide and very truck and trailer friendly! Highly recommend! We plan to book again to enjoy the lake in the summer! ”

“The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication. ”

“We truly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful property! The house was exceptionally clean, and we loved the way it was decorated. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, town, and restaurants. As a family, we hiked nearly thirty miles over the course of our time there and had fun putting together two puzzles. The pictured rocks, hiking trails, and cool weather made for a great trip! We hope to come back soon.”

Please forget the bad reviews. This place is small but it has everything you need to have a great experience. Would I stay here again? YES! Highly recommended”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
