I would begin by saying the staff was great. The property itself is in an older and dirtier area of Memphis. The outside was not clean. Inside the lobby and dining area was clean. The hotel itself was missing cleanliness from the elevator itself to not having functional sanitizing stations and extreme heat and humidity in the hallways. The room was on the surface clean, but did not have functional things like the shower head not effective or working properly, the bathroom sink did not drain, the water had a smell to it, dried mucus on the wall, bedside lamp did not work, the office chair was dirty and stained, there was substance stuck to the bathroom cabinets and hair on the floor.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had two dogs with me and easily checked in. I appreciated the cleanliness of the lobby and my room. The hotel itself it just not exactly in the safest area due to being on the outskirts of Memphis.
