“Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great!

“Despite turning up in biker gear I was welcomed warmly by the lady on reception. The breakfast options were explained and I went to the room. The room was clean and had a good array of bits and pieces, 2 small waters, dental care kit etc, a hairdryer with additional bits I don’t know the use for being A; male and B; bald. The towels were nicely folded in a way I hadn’t seen before. The shower was huge and the bed comfortable. The one thing I would say is u could hear the neighbours through the……

“Wij verbleven op doorreis een nachtje in de woning. Erg mooi. Alles is er aanwezig voor een fijn kort of lan g verblijf. Heerlijk rustig in een mooie omgeving. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. ”

“Warm welcome & our bedroom was immaculate. Lovely evening meal with excellent wine choices. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Good parking available. We were leaving early in the morning & were able to pay our bill before going to bed, leaving the key at reception & departing quietly
Will definitely return & I can recommend this hotel”
