"It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up."

Pop Castle is a warm, beautiful place for an event...only surpassed by the warmth and kindness of it's owners. The home is historic, well-maintained, and so comfortable! No detailsforgotten. Amazing kitchen! Bathrooms immaculate and the most comfy beds! This is truly a place for relaxation and sharing joy with friends & family! It has every amenity for a large gathering...beautiful views and grounds, places to spread out and come together! As Mother of the Bride, I was not as relaxed as I would have liked! But...all the more reason to return with the folks we treasure for another "Rivah" Respite! "I’ve stayed a number of times in one of their cottages, if you’re a fisherman or sailor it has everything you need. Mary, Capt Billy and Tiffany all provide excellent service and provide a very convenient and great place to stay. Book a trip! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this super cute basement suite! The space was much more spacious than we expected, with a comfy layout that made it easy to relax. What really made it special was the decor – full of antique knick-knacks and thoughtful touches that gave it so much character and charm.There’s no cell service, which was honestly a huge plus for us. It was the perfect excuse to truly unplug and unwind without distractions. They also stocked the place with plenty of snacks, which held us over nicely between meals – such a thoughtful gesture! And if you do need anything, Main Street is just a quick drive away.We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy retreat with lots of personality!"

The proximity to water with toys and similarly aged kids next door couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was very well equipped, and stocked with perfect items to complete our preparation, or lack thereof. We had solitude from the rest of the world to reconnect and enjoy each other fully in a beautiful spot. "
