“From the outside it looks like an old timey 1950’s hotel. However, the rooms and bathrooms have been totally redone inside and they’re beautiful. Would stay again. A hidden gem. A Few good restaurants not far down the street, too. ”

“This property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. ”

“Terrible”

“The attention to detail here is amazing. They had coloring books for the kids (that I mentioned were coming in passing after the owner messaged me upon booking) and extra towels without us having to request it. Room was very clean. Has a great view. Fantastic customer service…and we haven’t even had the homemade cinnamon rolls yet. ”

“Warner Hall is gorgeous. They have recently done some major improvements while maintaining the wonderful character of the home. I could spend hours looking through the books, admiring the antique furniture. Don’t mites the rest of the grounds! The dock, the patio, the old graveyard are worth visiting. Also, the hosts, were great. They enjoy the history of the place, and it shows. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely respite. Comfortable cottage with three beds (two bedrooms) and one bathroom, plus view of a picturesque pastoral scene: a field of green grass, white fence, a friendly dog who politely asks to play ball if you like (and leaves you alone if you don’t), and the occasional mooing of the cows in the distance. There’s WiFi in the house if you need it (no WiFi in cottages) but it’s the kind of place where it’s a good idea to unplug. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee first thing in the...
