We were told there was not another room to move to the next day but when they evaluated the situation they suddenly had a room to move us to. The new room was great and bigger as the pictures had originally advertised but there toilet made very loud whistling noises at all hours randomly (you had to jiggle the handle to get it stop). Also, the windows were not sound proof. That said, the space was nice and it was centrally located. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and they were very responsive by text to all concerns. It is a bit difficult to be in hotel without a front desk but I think their communications are well set-up to address issues. Never stayed at a place we had to pay to have the room spruced up. You can definitely hear the local night clubs or should I say, feel the base, from them. Staff were great - Diane (Diana? at the restaurant is a gem). We did have a drunk guy try to get into our room, we texted and called security as he kept knocking on our door and trying to get in. The gate to the motel rooms (aka Bungalows) was never locked. Restaurant made what I wanted for breakfast (simple eggs and salad). Was a little thrown off by the lack of staff/concierge. A very dangerous situation since the rear gate in the alley is never locked. Tara and Juda were the only staff that made things better. they both are an asset to your company. They still entered which was a serious violation of terms. When I followed up with management they offered a canned apology and nothing else. As for the room we had, it was dingy. There were stains on the sofa, the floor had layers of dirt, the walls are very thin so you hear the entire conversation of the room next to you as well as traffic. The location is great and the only saving grace.
