Additionally the doorknob fell off as soon as we entered so we were unable to lock it and felt unsafe. We checked out immediately and explained our issues to the host but he was unwilling to give us a refund. I am not one to leave negative reviews but I feel like others should be warned about how terrible this property is. The two “excellent” reviews that I was relying on must have been posted by the host because there is no way anyone could consider this an acceptable place to stay unless it has really gone downhill in the last month. We loved that we could walk all around Little Havana from this place. (Tip…Walk to the right, through the neighborhood and then turn left after a few blocks to get to the best part of Little Havana). It was easy to communicate with the host and easy to get in. He was able to accommodate our need to leave luggage there longer and replied to messages very quickly.
