I had a lovely stay at Hotel Panizza, the staff were welcoming, the room was basic but clean. I found the hotel easy to locate. Was a five minute walk to the nearest metro and only ten minutes into the centre of Milan. It would have been good to have a kettle in the room but there was a fridge. Plus a convenience store at the end of the road. I definitely recommend the hotel if you like to be slightly out of town but close to all locations.

Good hotel, well located, room was clean and big enough for one person, though the bed was quite hard. Located on the second floor, there is a decent lift but I didn't spend much time there or have the breakfast, it suited my very limited needs, would stay again.

Location is good for exploring the city. Location is great for access to “The Last Supper” and the Da Vinci Science Museum. Staff was friendly and attentive to our requests (speaks English). We stayed during the El Niño heat wave of 2026 and the A/C was struggling hard. We stayed on an upper floor with a balcony. It was cooler than the outside, but not quite cool enough to be relaxing. There is no on-site parking, but there is a garage not too far. It’ll cost about €30-40 per day, so prepare for that (and you have to leave your car keys with them and they will move your vehicle daily - granted, this is not the hotel’s fault, but you still need to be aware).

Check in was super easy and our room was ready even though we arrived early. The room was clean ans quiet. We had a king size bed and plenty of closet space/shelves/desk. There is a small elevator and we were both able to fit with our luggage. Great area for restaurants.

I’m booked this to be close to Santa Maria della Gracie (Last Supper). Perfect - easy walking distance. A tram stop close nearby, restaurants a short walk. Slightly difficult to spot as it is on the first floor with unobtrusive entrance, a little hard to spot.

A pleasant place to stay in Milan

This is a pleasant small hotel, rather old-fashioned, in a quiet area of Milan - staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from the Metro - a 10-minute journey on the Metro to the Duomo.
