Minakami Vacation Packages
Minakami is located approximately 80 miles (129 kilometers) from Tokyo, the country's capital, and about 90 miles (145 kilometers) from Yokohama.
From firm tourist favorites to lesser known delights, the area around Minakami is brimming with natural and cultural attractions. If you're looking for other places to check out, you'll find Maebashi, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the north, and Yuzawa 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southeast.
Nikko is 40 miles (64 kilometers) from Minakami. This center offers a wide range of visitor attractions, like Taiyuinbyo, Nikko National Park and Futarasan Shrine. Nikko Botanical Garden, Oze National Park and Nikko Temple are also worth investigating before heading back to Minakami.
Engage with the locals in Gunma, by getting familiar with the Japanese language. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" ("Would you like to dance with me?") is handy. You'll also realise that using "Benjo wa doko desu ka?", which translates to "Where's the toilet?", can get you a long way.
The 23rd of December is Birthday of Emperor Akihito, so if you're vacationing here at this time, remember that some attractions may have reduced opening hours as the country celebrates.
As your adventures here draw to a close, spend your last yen on that last souvenir and bid a fond Sayōnara (farewell) to the people you've got to know and the locations you've been.
