What a find ! Gorgeous 16th Century Farmhouse B&B. Fantastic that the wonderful hosts Sharon & Paul are fully dog-friendly - as I was on a solo short break with our younger dog, we were both made welcome. Lovely clean, nicely decorated spacious room. Bonus of a fridge with water & a small glass bottle of proper milk ie not sachets etc, to go with the well stocked courtesy tray. Lots of little touches, like various "I've forgotten" items, wine glasses, glass tumblers & corkscrew ... even a hair "turban" for use after washing your hair ! Nice shared outside seating area dor use by my & neighbouring room. Whilst we didn't make use of it, the communal garden had garden furniture, as well as seating inside the summerhouse. which also had an honesty bar .. lovely idea. Breakfasta were superb, great choice of cereals, fresh fruit, dishes of fruut, greek + fruit yoghurt, mini pastries. Plus cooked breakfast - vegetarians catered for. Friendly, welcoming hosts who happily offered suggestions of places to go, where to go for dinner. The garden was amazing. I just wanted to cancel the rest of my trip, and stay there the rest of my holiday:) The hosting couple was also very friendly and welcoming. Our room was so lovely and clean and comfortable and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room environment was so warm and welcoming. Wow, What an exceptionally lucky find. Hosts Sharon and Paul could not have been more friendly and welcoming. It is rare to find a place where simply everything has been thought of, down to every last detail. Our room was cosy, very quiet and peaceful. Ideally located for the North Somerset/Devon coast and perfect for Dunster Castle. Breakfast was also something special.
