"We had a great one night stay. I got caught up in a wave down by the beach and was soaked from head to toe. The hosts insisted on washing and drying all of my clothes and left them by our room while we went and enjoyed the area. The room was very comfortable, great bed and wonderful hosts."

"I can’t say enough about this place. I usually always stay at high-end hotels and let me tell you something, these folks do it right!! We had an amazing meal that we cook on their barbecue grill. They were so accommodating from anything from olive oil to utensils even cutting boards and let me just tell you an amazing breakfast cook to order and again great host also impressed with their sheets, towels and bedding I did not want to leave, I even made a comment today adopt me. 😉"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO properties we have stayed at. "Tony was super helpful and easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. Couldn’t ask for a better host. The cabin was beautiful, the location was excellent, and our weather was perfect. Only reason for four stars on the description is that we were all just a little disappointed that there wasn’t a hot tub, since the house overview had it marked, but on reading the description more carefully, we saw they were just referring to the bath tub downstairs."

Great find
"Highlands is a gorgeous property. They have more luxurious rooms on one side of the road with the restaurant. We stayed other side of the road at the Village at the highlands. Simple but well appointed. Great for our 1 night stay. A few minutes drive to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The restaurant was 5 star. Delicious, make a reservation. Staff was awesome."
