Top Old Station Hotel Reviews
Himont Motel
"Great."
1950's themed cute and cozy cabin in Old Station.
"Beautiful spot. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean, cozy, and family friendly! We appreciated that the cabin was close enough to drive to Lassen park entrance. Jill was super friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and flexible. Would definitely stay again!"
Green Gables Motel & Suites
"This was our second time staying here it is a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very helpful and friendly and the room is clean and very welcoming. Very quiet place to stay Burney falls is 15 minutes from the motel. McCloud falls is a hour from the motel and Shasta lake and lassen national park are with in a hour and a half from the motel there are so many waterfalls in the area that are beautiful. Definitely will be staying here agin when we are in the area."
Millz Manor at Fall River Millz
"Millz Manor is a clean, peaceful, and good-value option for travelers who prefer a cozy atmosphere over extra space. I stayed one night on August 15, 2026, after booking the previous day due to a last-minute change in plans. Since I arrived after business hours, check-in instructions were sent in advance and were simple to follow. The room, at about 225 sq. ft., felt very small at first, but the layout was impressively efficient. It included a queen bed, side table, desk with TV, dressing table, one-person couch, mini-fridge, and bathroom with shower, while still leaving enough room to move around. The property was quiet, the mattress was comfortable, and we slept very well. AT&T reception was strong, so we did not need the available Wi-Fi. For Lassen Volcanic National Park visitors, note that the drive is about 90 minutes, which may be longer than some prefer. Fall River Mills is small and spread out, but it has the essentials and a peaceful charm. Overall, Millz Manor offers excellent value for travelers comfortable with a compact room. The northern route is also scenic, with McArthur-Burney Falls nearby, and Fall River Lake is an underrated stop worth visiting."
Burney Motel
"Friendly staff and had good accommodations. Loved the fridge it included"
Drakesbad Guest Ranch
"Quaint and rustic retreat with wonderful people making the experience even better. Access to Mt Lassen Volcanic Park, trails and thermal pools. Close to Lake Almanor. Built in 1910, rooms in the lodge are small, only a bed & folding chair, but downstairs a large communal area offers multiple comfortable seating areas - big wingback leather chairs and a deep couch. Game rack in the corner, large wood stove in the middle. Some places show their age - the sagging deck- But care is taken. Bathrooms have a sink & toilet. Showers are available in a funky bathhouse down the path. If you don’t eat what’s on offer in the cafe, they’ll make you something else. Standard buffet breakfast - Belgian waffles, eggs, sausage, hash-browns, bagels, cereals. If the right people are working, you can get an espresso with nondairy milks, too. No outlets in the rooms - bring a battery for your CPAP or ask the staff for an attachment. Horses appeared well cared for."
2 bedroom cabin in mineral
"Lassen is amazing, of course. The house is close to the park. The kitchen in the house is well stocked with cookware and the house is comfortable. We also enjoyed the nearby cafe as they make an excellent Latte and have an extensive desert menu."
Charming 3-bedroom cabin in with AC, spa, game room, firepit & EV charger
"Terrific property, terrific owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together"
Studio A at Bigfoot Lodging Lassen
"Very friendly and welcoming staff! The cabin was small but comfy. Everything was super clean."
