"Brought me back in time when I visited my Uncle’s farm and could enjoy the woods, fields, animals, wildlife, and more but didn’t have to do chores. The house had all the modern conveniences (no AC) and easily accommodated our group of eight and could have handled more. We appreciated the home's vintage as well as the more modern amenities (AC, renovated bathrooms, etc.). "The house is nicely finished. The bedrooms were really nice and large and easily accommodated our families. Air conditioning would have been nice to have on the first night. The second was much cooler. The bed I slept in only had a fitted sheet and a bedspread, no top sheet. The property is very nice, great for outdoor activities. We had a great stay. "A clean, well-kept single level home within 5-10 minutes of Alexandria. The screened-in deck was a big hit with our dog and was wonderful way to be outside without the bugs.
