We will definitely return. The apartment, Lori's House, was perfect and exactly as described. It was spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and very clean. The four stars for online description are because one important fact was missing -- the apartment is a third floor walk-up in a 400 year old building. However, the views from both the large windows and rooftop terrace were beautiful. Alberto, the host, could not have been kinder, more helpful, and attentive. He always responded immediately to our texts and even appeared in person to help carry our luggage when we arrived. The apartment is located in the middle of town with restaurants, church, and shops all within easy walking distance. We visited the amazing Lamborghini factory and Alberto recommended the incomparable Acetaia di Giorgio Balsamic Vinegar "factory" which is not a factory at all but rather the 200 plus year old villa of the family bearing the name. we learned much about the process of making authentic balsamic vinegar and sampled many types. Modena was a highlight for a recent family trip to visit the motor valley and surrounding areas. The apartment is well located for walking to all of the sights and Resturants. Plenty of space to relax, great A/C, hot water, and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to prepare meals and there are many food and meat shops within walking distance. The host is terrific, making sure we were easily checked in, that we had recommendations for where to eat and shop and he even helped us speak to a ticketing agent who did not speak English.
