“The door was broken with a screw hanging out of the door handle which is asking for injury. When we first got there they said the key was in the door which isn’t very safe, then next minute they have lost the key and it takes them 10-15 to find us a key while we just stand around and wait. We go upstairs see the door handle and it’s literally a box with a bed in it. The bathroom had a dead fly in the shower. Wanted a full refund but only got half even through we did not stay there. DO NOT……

“I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge. The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. “Everything was good. Very spacious, clean and modern. This is an apartment of a larger home with a locked door separating the unit which was a little creepy but there was generally little or no sound coming through. The views from the large windows were stunning. It was a very windy and chilly day so we had kept in doors and skipped exploring the ocean area. The heat pump worked well to keep it comfortable. Nice well equipped kitchen.”
