Molinos de Papel Vacations from $625

The property can be accessed by bus or taxi/Uber but is not near the metro, Uber/taxi cost was 30-35 Euro to central Madrid and 18 Euro to the airport. They do not have laundry facilities. There were squashed bugs on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. There are no restaurants in the area within walking distance other than one other hotel with a restaurant. It was not a convenient place to stay in my opinion.

This is not the fault of the accommodation.. poor description of check in .. hotels describes front desk which is not how check in occurs .. one email says we have to download app then you will receive 2nd email with different code to use on a machine at accommodation which allows the app to key open accommodation.. but no 2nd email received.. and the address of the accommodation is wrong .. Too hard we bailed on it and went somewhere else that’s just money gone !!!

They charged me $420 for a standard room, my colleague paid 140€ for the same room the same day. They charged me as a 5 stars hotel when it’s an old 3 stars. Never again.

We loved the fact that this hotel offers free shuttle service, it was timely and we used it twice during our 1 night stay. They even went the extra strep of rolling 2 vans during our stay to accommodate all of their guests needing to get to the airport. The downside was the air conditioning didn't work well and with Madrid being VERY hot this September it was harder to get a good sleep.
