While the Inn and the room were beautiful and clean, we had terrible neighbors and management did nothing to help us. Because of this, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.
The hotel does state that they have quiet hours starting at 9:30 pm...however, we had upstairs neighbors that checked in at 7:30 pm and did not stop running through their room, moving furniture, and laughing loudly until about 3 am. A certain amount of noise is to be expected in a hotel, especially in an older building...but this was absurd. We were unable to sleep, even playing loud white noise. We called management twice-- once at 11:30, and once at 12:30 am. They said that they spoke to the upstairs neighbors, but there was absolutely no change. There was no offer for further help, and when we let them know that the problem had not improved all they said was "we called them and they said they were sorry."
So...long story short, if you're lucky enough to have a quiet neighbor, the hotel is lovely. However, if you have a bad neighbor, management will do nothing to help you. It appears there's no one on site who can go talk to bad actors, and the older buildings will do absolutely nothing to shield sound. It was far too expensive to get zero sleep, so unfortunately we will not be staying here again.
