This hotel is very special and unique. The rooms are good size and the beds higher than usual to enhance your view of the beautiful scenery. Just loved it! It’s on my list to return to.

A very cozy and romantic hotel with a stunning view of the bay and beautiful panoramic windows. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. The room looks exactly like the photos and is very comfortable, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel has a unique nautical, vintage-inspired style with lots of charming details that give it a special atmosphere. Everything feels original and full of character rather than like a typical modern hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Staff was super helpful. I had to make a last-minute change a date due to a family emergency. They were very accommodating and very clean and super simple. Check in process took like five minutes tops. highly recommended.

I wasn’t comfortable with the self check in process. I wasn’t aware of it. I must not have looked at the ad properly. The place was deserted and in a desolate location I did not like that and felt at risk, but the amenities were fine and the room was cute. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Beautiful hidden gem, close to Big Sur, Carmel & Monterey for a little less money. We loved the cleanliness, amenities and spacious room. The walls are pretty thin as it’s an older building but other than that we were happy with the deal.

Communicating with staff was very difficult. We couldn’t hear or understand them on the phone and had to do text only, which was also difficult. We had to give our information several times before they would give us a room code. They were located 20 minutes away. That being said the property was unique and well appointed. We liked the glassware and ceramic coffee mugs. The common room had pastries and extra keurig coffee and cream. The views, hikes, birds were amazing. The property is right on the salinas River. I probably wouldn’t return because things were so confusing.

This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again.

Had a great stay!

We had a great stay! The was a faux pas with the hot water, so we didn't get to soak in the glorious tub at one point but we did get it resolved and it was worth the wait. We loved Moss Landing; everything we needed was there or close by and everyone we encountered was very pleasant.

Great location just off the coast

Quaint hotel in great location. We took a trip from Sa Fran down to Bug Sur & really enjoyed this hotel. Very cool house with fantastic surroundings including terrific run in room. We would definitely stay in this spot again in the future.
