The shower curtain bar was broken which made the shower curtain to slide to the middle and consequently got the floor wet. The shower/tub knobs were very confusing to use.

Very poor experience at the seaside embassy suites. Typically I love staying at embassy suites, but this was an outlier. Their system was down (not their fault, completely understand) and the way they navigated this was pretty terrible. I was staying at the property for a special event and I had to get ready in the lobby bathroom due to our room not being available on time. I would also say our room was rundown and felt dirty. Multiple red stains on the carpeting, the mattress on the pull out couch had many stains on it. Just felt pretty icky in all honesty.

There were only 2 elevators for the entire hotel!! Others were all broken! We were stuck on the 6th floor for over 1 hour with our cart loaded with all of our stuff and our kids stuff. Everytime it cane it was so packed with people we could not get on! There were so many other people complaining of the sane thing! The women at the front desk didnt care at all and had MAJOR ATTITUDE PROBLEMS! We will never ever stay here again for 750.00 for 1 night and being treated like garbage. Horribke customer service. I think i should have gotten a discount for sure! I am an IHG member as well and this was the worst stay we have ever had! We paid for a 2 room king suite and the balcony door could barely open, the thermostat was broken and it took us almost 2 hours just to be able to get downstairs to check out! 2 towels in the room for a 4 person room, no blankets for the pull out couch so i had to do alot myself just to make us comfortable. Like i said i paid over 700.00 for 1 night! unexceptable!!

The room and people were great. The main issue was the loudness of the hotel fan. We couldn’t sit on the balcony because it was so loud. And the noise was 24 hours a day.

Brought our doggo for a week vacation in Monterey and the hotel was very accommodating - free breakfast and free evening drink reception was a nice plus. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Loved the friendly and accommodating staff!! The bathroom tub did not drain well and hot water was fleeting. Those barn doors in the bathrooms are heavy and hard for young and elderly to open and close. $20 parking fee a day is ridiculous!!
