It was hard to leave my room and come and go as I please due to the fact that I didn’t have key access to my room because of the key system being down. I had to stop at front desk to get access to room each time by staff.However, Room was nice, establishment was clean, check in process was ok.

The bathtub was filthy and moldy, several water stains on the ceiling, the carpet was dirty, and there was a broken light fixture laying on the bathroom sink. More importantly, they could not provide room keys to us or any other guests, the key card programmer was broken and had been inoperative for 2-weeks. The service clerk had to walk you to your room and unlock your door with the master key everytime you wanted in your room.

Property was pretty clean and decent. Room was fine. Their key card system was not working so had to be let in my staff every time we left. Staff was all pretty great. However, after about 4 days they gave my husband a hard time about being let in because his name wasnt on the reservation (which understandable so we added it) but then had to wait over 30 minutes to be let in in about 100 ° weather with my two kids. Not fun for any of us! We had groceries that needed to be replaced because of the wait. Overall - pretty decent but the no key was A PAIN! (But thats not on the staff - thats on the property)

I love how the room smelled, and the set up was nice. We used the kitchen and everything was there for cooking, we just provided the food. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. 5 stars no doubt! Highly recommend especially if you like to cook

I knew this was a no frills hotel, but it was clean spacious. The room is basically a studio apartment. Would be great for an extended stay although we were just there one night while passing through. Arrived around 10 pm and the desk clerk and friendly and helpful. Headed lit early the next morning and the lobby was locked with a number to call if help was needed.

I was thankful for Shaneka and her wonderful hospitality. Another lady in the office helped with directions to Sweet Creek Farm Market--the BBQ is AMAZING by the way! When we first got to the hotel we were given a room in the back of the hotel. It was dirty looking with black questionable stuff on the carpets and curtains. The room had fleas and evidence of a recent pet occupant. When we went to the front desk, they immediately apologized and put us in a room near the front. The room was much cleaner, but still had an "uck" feel. I never took my shoes off and I covered the couch with a sheet so I didn't have to sit directly on it. The ice machine didn't work, and Sheneka was so professional as to make sure the worker/maintenance guy came back to our room to see if he could fix it (the ice in main office did not work either). He pulled the fridge out and then suggested that we unplug it and let the ice inside the lines melt, then plug it back in. This hotel would be amazing if someone would pressure wash the sidewalks and outside walls (that are covered with mildew and mold looking stuff). There is no breakfast, coffee, or tea readily available. Again, the rooms and property would be great if it were cleaned and better taken care of. The service was great. I would not recommend or return, but that is no reflection on the office staff--more the upkeep/maintenance.

Terrible experience from the time we walked in the door! The receptionist had an attitude from the beginning like we were interrupting her evening. No "welcome", low-spoken, very short with everything she said. Our room was on the very back of the property. It was very dark. One of the few lights in the parking lot was not working. There were 6-8 men out in the parking lot at the entrance to our "building" partying! Drinking and smoking something that was obviously NOT cigarettes or cigars! My wife and I did NOT feel safe!! The room had a nasty musty smell. We left and found another hotel that had a clean, safe environment and friendly, pleasant staff. Didn't even try to get a refund. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn at the same exit. This was my 2nd bad experience with Sonesta and I will NEVER try to book another one.
