“We loved our little apartment within the castle walls! Wonderful communication and assistance from the hosts, very clean and well-supplied, and very comfortable. The location requires an uphill walk from the historic center, but a frequent bus is also available. We enjoyed escaping to the charming, small streets of the castle in the evenings and were surprised at how quiet it was. Highly recommend!”

“What an interesting concept for lodging. Access to this accommodation was completely automated. We did have some difficulty with the codes to enter, but we messaged them and the issue was quickly resolved. The accommodation was clean, bright, and spacious, with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms (no doors), a living space and outdoor space. Within walking distance to Lisbon Oriente train station, and water front. Great restaurants close by and a 15 min Uber ride to the airport. Highly……

“We enjoyed staying at Francisco' place. The apartment was bright and comfortable. The property manager Antonio was very helpful not only on our check in but also on the day of checkout. We accidently left one backpack in the apartment and Antonio came to the rescue to open the door for us retrieving it. It happened on Sunday in the early morning. We really appreciated his help. Both Francisco and Antonio cared about their customers. We will stay with them again when we visit Lisbon.”

“Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages.”
