Homewood Suites by Hilton Montreal Downtown, QC
Breakfast was unremarkable. Staff was friendly. Had to ask several times for handsome as there was none and several times had to ask for toilet paper.. basics. Room was nice, hotel fairly quiet, in a good location with inside parking (additional $). Great price through Expedia

Hotel Omni Mont-Royal
I thought I would try a more up-scale hotel than usual on this trip to Montreal, but on the whole I was disappointed. (1) check-in: I arrived at 5pm and I was told my room was ready, but I'd have to wait while it was "verified" -- that took 10-15 minutes, which was OK, but not my idea of luxury. ...
