“Desert Rose was an ideal stop between Colorado and Arizona. The property presents well from the exterior with some construction alongside. Front desk staff were welcoming and answered questions. No direction or information on amenities was offered. Room was on the upper floor as requested - elevators are not available. Room was clean and well provisioned. Furniture is very old with most of the finishing either rubbed or peeled off. A simple refinishing or oiling would do well to preserve……

“It doesn't look luxurious at first, but the facilities are very complete. The air conditioner is turned on before you check in, so it is cool as soon as you enter the room. There is water in the refrigerator and a freezer compartment, which can quickly cool down the food. It's a quiet place in a quiet town. Very nice.”
