“Dark Canyon was indeed a great off grid experience. The 360-degree views around the cabin with no other humans around offered something not found very often. Sitting on the deck at sunset while enjoying a glass of whiskey and looking at the Bears Ears was truly a western experience. The sunrises make you want to get up early just to experience the beauty. It makes you understand the use of pink and turquoise in the Native American art of this region. The wildlife around the cabin was……

“This host is amazing! She was quick to respond to our questions and so helpful and willing to meet our needs. The host had a wonderful welcome basket and a binder to help us get to know the area. The kitchen is well stocked. The couch pulls out so you could sleep on it or relax after a long day of hiking. I missed that there wasn’t a TV when I booked, but we streamed on a laptop. We would LOVE to stay here again. We highly recommend this place. ”

“The hosts for Big Bear were a pleasure to work with! The home is wonderful with a lot of rooms and sleeping areas. We loved that the family room and large dining table area were together. The home is warm and welcoming and the hosts have the home stocked with everything that you could possibly need. We had a wonderful time!”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is charming. We experienced very good communication from the property owner. The location was a convenient launching point for our daily adventures at Canyonlands and are state parks. (Don't skip Dead Horse Point State Park. Amazing place.) A few more clothes hangers in closets would be nice, and a few more spices for food preparation. We added some for future visitors. All in all, we can recommend this rent with enthusiasm.”
